Welcome to My Site

Welcome to my place on the Internet. Thank you for taking the time to know who the person behind these words is. Let me introduce myself.

When I began my postgraduate school in 2003, I had the opportunity to be exposed to the full range of programming courses. It was the first time when I discovered what is behind the beautiful designed web pages. From that moment I saw a different perspective on my professional life. After ten years of preponderant systems administration activity and help desk support, I decided to change a little bit my career and to deepen in the marvellous and challenging world of the application development.

To keep up to date with the latest technologies I take take courses at BCIT. I started in June 2007 to study "ASP.NET with C#" and after I had finished I started another course "Windows Applications Development in C#.NET" to improve my developer skills.

I believe I can make the greatest contribution utilizing my theoretical background and creativity as a .NET developer. I am highly aware of my limits in this moment, I am not like a professional, but I work hard to become a professional. I am especially interested in applications development using .NET platform . My personal projects, some of them from the BCIT courses, have involved combination of these technologies. I have just begun developing smaller projects with some success and am gradually building a working portfolio.

In terms of a career, I see myself developing applications in a professional style and going to achieve step by step some Microsoft certificate in this field.

I had the opportunity and the pleasure to work, even if was for a short period of time, with a great team Brandon Grosutti and Gregory Young[MVP] at Wolverton Securities. Their willingness to help created a work environment from which I benefited tremendously. Having them not only as coworkers, but as teachers and mentors, I got a glimpse of a professional programmer thinking. In that period I improved greatly my skills and knowledge in the field.

Since January 2008, I'm working as programmer analyst at BCMEA Vancouver with a great team. I consider myself lucky and also privileged to work and learn from all of them
